This Privacy Policy explains what information Memory Match ("we", "us", the app) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Memory Match, you agree to this policy.
Account information: when you sign in with Google, Apple, or email/password, we receive your email address, display name, and a unique account identifier from Firebase Authentication (operated by Google).
Profile information you provide: your chosen username and, if you upload one, a profile photo (stored on our own server, not a third-party photo service).
Gameplay data: scores, level progress, statistics (games won, streaks, pairs matched), daily challenge and streak completion, and virtual coin balance.
Multiplayer and social data: match history and moves against other players, follow requests and friendships, and an "online now" timestamp used to show your presence to other players.
Location-adjacent data: your device's region/country code (from your phone's locale setting, not GPS), used to show you on the country leaderboard.
Purchase data: for in-app coin purchases, we receive the product ID and transaction ID from the App Store or Google Play — never your payment card details, which the store itself handles.
Your username, profile photo, level, and public stats are visible to other Memory Match players — this is a normal part of a social/competitive game (leaderboards, multiplayer, public profile).
We share limited data with service providers who help us run the app: Firebase/Google (authentication), and Apple/Google (payment processing for in-app purchases). These providers process data under their own privacy terms.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.
Game data is stored on our own server infrastructure; authentication data is stored by Firebase (Google Cloud infrastructure). We retain your account data for as long as your account exists.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Account settings. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
You can view and edit your username at any time in the app. You can change your app language in Profile → Language. You can delete your account and data at any time in Profile → Account.
To request a copy of your data, ask a question, or exercise any other privacy right available to you under applicable law, contact us at ozkangungor42@googlemail.com.
Memory Match is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at ozkangungor42@googlemail.com and we will delete it.
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including where our server infrastructure and service providers (such as Google/Firebase) operate. By using the app, you consent to this transfer.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
