1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or otherwise using Minesweeper, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. The Service
Minesweeper provides a multiplayer minesweeper game with online matchmaking, invites, a public leaderboard, direct messaging, and a follow/friend system. We may add, change, or remove features at any time, and we do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
3. Accounts and Eligibility
You must sign in using Google or Apple to use Minesweeper. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials and for all activity that occurs on your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account. Use of Minesweeper by children is subject to the age requirements of the applicable app store and any consent required from a parent or legal guardian.
4. Acceptable Use
When using Minesweeper, you agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, defame, or abuse other players;
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
- Send unsolicited advertising, spam, or malicious links through direct messages;
- Use cheats, bots, automation tools, or exploits to gain an unfair advantage;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another account or to our systems; or
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
We may investigate and take appropriate action, including warning, suspending, or terminating accounts that violate this section.
5. User Content and Communications
Minesweeper lets you choose a username and send direct messages to other players you follow or are followed by. You are solely responsible for the content you send. We do not pre-screen messages, but we may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms. You can block a player at any time, which prevents further messages and follow requests between you and that player, and you can report abusive behavior to us using the contact details below.
Minesweeper also has a public Global Chat, organized into rooms by language, where anything you post is visible to everyone in that room. Moderators and administrators can mute an account from Global Chat, stating a reason, for a set period or permanently, and administrators can suspend accounts entirely for serious or repeated violations. Messages posted in Global Chat are automatically deleted after 30 days.
7. Intellectual Property
Minesweeper, including its name, logo, design, and underlying software, is owned by MyGulfList and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your personal, non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on the app, except as permitted by applicable law.
8. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Minesweeper, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or if required to do so by law. You may stop using the app and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us as described in our Privacy Policy.
You may also delete your own account at any time from within the app: go to Profile, scroll to the bottom, and tap “Delete Account.” You will be asked to confirm and, for an email/password account, to re-enter your password. This permanently and irreversibly deletes your account and associated data as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
Minesweeper is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors, or that any defects will be corrected.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MyGulfList shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, goodwill, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of Minesweeper, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you may have under Apple's or Google's standard end-user terms applicable to apps distributed through their respective stores.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Minesweeper after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the app.
